Shark River Inlet, Manasquan River and Barnegat Light, New Jersey

Meet at 5:30 AM at the Ephrata Wal-Mart parking lot located at the Ephrata Rte. 322 exit off Rte. 222. The first stop will be Barnegat Lighthouse for Harlequin Ducks, Long-tailed Ducks, Scoters, Purple Sandpipers and other sea birds and shorebirds. The group will then head north to Manasquan River and Shark River Inlet, stopping along the way at various small lakes for wintering waterfowl. This is an all-day trip with more driving than walking. The weather and temperatures vary so dress appropriately. Limited to 16 participants.
